I liked the brown hues but not the blue.The rubber on the clip helps hold hair really well and helps cushion to avoid breakage. I have medium thin hair and these hold well. I think they would hold medium thick hair too. They are well made and look nice. Worth the money!Two of the three arrived broken. The first time I used the third, it broke. Very, very, flimsy. It is not nearly as large as the picture implies.
