Bought these to have one for the house and one for the car. Sturdy and comfortable. A good purchase all aroundVery sturdy .. love all three of them .. definitely recommendI love the big brush for at home and the little one is great in our jeep. It goes through jeep( top down, doors off)hair without pulling any of your hair out.Both brushes are lovely, comfy-to-hold, and won't scratch scalp or break at the top of the handle. Large brush works great for long, thick hair. The "missing bristle" mentioned in some reviews is actually a tiny, intentional hole that helps the bristle pad to flex. Small brush is larger than usual pursed-sized brushes and would make a great gift for a child. I use for our long-haired cat's back, sides, and tummy areas (along with a soft, baby's brush for her face and feet.) After numerous attempts using grooming tools for cats, she finally enjoys being brushed!Very nice brush, wouldn't mind if it were somehow a bit aofterI had to retire my old brush and bought this paddle brush to handle my thick Asian hair.
