DO NOT BUY the closures!!! (I saw a few reviews here and there and still took a risk thinking x,y, & z or maybe they over bleached the closure etc etc.) No. I first created a “u part” wig. Then I decided I no longer want leave-out. It was too much maintenance (for me) and I’m used to all my hair being braided. I then took down the wig about a week or so later and created another one using the closure. For some reason I forgot to wash the closure prior to use. During that time the closure was ok. After washing the closure that’s when it’s truest form was reveled to me. I wish I had washed it sooner so I could return/exchange it. The closure MATTED and tangled heavily while washing it!!! I attempted to de tangle it with my denman brush and it SHEDDED like crazy. (More hair shedded then what’s pictured) I even applied conditioner and there was NO change. I did not bleach the closure. I wouldn’t recommend doing so. I allowed the closure to air dry. Upon looking at it the next day it was very dry, stiff and coarse. I cannot run my fingers through the hair easily or without hair coming out it. If I want to wear the bundles again I’d have to cut the closure out, replace it or attempt the u-part again. The closure can not be styled. I don’t even think silicone mix can fix this. Again DO NOT BUY.—The hair bundles holds up well with bounce and volume. It can look dry depending on the products you use so I created something that I felt would work and it did. Use what normally works for you. Section well and focus on the ends. I do not sleep with my wigs on so I cannot speak on matting at the nape however I didn’t have any issues. The longer bundles has a slightly looser curl pattern. (16,18,20) The 20inch bundle and I’d like to say the 18in were slightly different. Also they weighed less. True to length though, barely. lol The bundles sheds as expected for curly hair. I also always seal the wefts and don’t cut them while sewing unless I need to.For styling the hair, I used water mixed with conditioner and a shine serum (small amount) in a spray bottle to keep the hair looking hydrated and moisturized. Bio S*lk. Sometimes I’d just use water and conditioner then lightly spritz it with the other concoction so I wouldnt make the hair greasy. Thank me later. Washing once a week is fine and sometimes I didn’t have to refreshen the curls the next day if I didn’t want to. I use a denman brush bought from S*llys to detangle and brush the hair. I’d say the $20 spent on that brush is worth it. The curls pop better. (Of course all of this was while in a u-part styled wig with leave out) As for my leave-out, it was a lot to blend it with my 3c/4a hair. I’d have to twist a strand of mine with the wig to blend properly. It wasn’t a clip on and go. I wasn’t use to this with another kinky curly hair I bought a few years ago. Overall I would buy the hair again from this company. It is wellll worth the price I paid for it. I just wish I had a closure to go with it. I also like Ali Pearl (prev. bought from their site) bundles and closures for different looks, curl patterns etc. *Everything purchased through Amazon.*I’ve been buying this hair for YEARS and they have yet to disappoint me. I’ve bought the straight and kinky textured hair and both were easy to color and have lasted at least a 8 months to a year with proper care. To make things even sweeter, I am SOOO happy they are now on Amazon prime!!!!** I did not contact the company for compensation for my review and I paid for my order in full**I am not happy with this hair. The description is misleading and some statements are flat out not true. I am going to very specific with this review to help someone else. Urban Ms did a review here and everything she said is exactly my experience as well.Pros:The bundles are very full, did not have an unpleasant smell and true to the lengths I ordered.The weft construction is also nice. They are thick, the stitching is neat and I did not experience a lot of shedding straight out the package.Shipping and packaging A+++Cons:-There is no way this hair is virgin hair. The next few cons are evidence why-When I cowashed the hair the curls dropped. Even before adding conditioner. The tight coils at the end of the strands were more fuzzy than coiled with just water alone. I allowed the hair to drip dry overnight and the curls did not come back as they were before wetting the hair- Every single test I did with swatches of this hair changed the curl pattern!- The hair is the darkest jet black possible! All 3 bundles. There is nothing natural about it. There is no way this hair was not tinted that way.-The hair will NOT lift to blonde if it lifts at all it only lifts to red and copper colors.I should have paid more attention to reviews about color. But I was convinced by the same YT review a lot of you mentioned and the responses from the seller in the Q&A section listed with the product description.I tested this hair over 6 different ways. I am not posting pictures because I can't get my flash right to show the color as it looks in person and I am still trying to figure out a way to make this hair work. *sigh* I don't have much leftover hair to test with left. I will update my review later to show what I ended up with. I am being 100% honest and I will save all my swatches for reference. I am not a licensed stylist. This was just my own trial and error based on other reviews. My natural hair is true #2 so I only wanted the roots of my 3/4 wig lifted to dark brown and my ends lifted to a honey or amber blonde.Test 1 (at least 2 hours in foil) - 40V developer - Results: No color change, curl pattern slightly relaxedTest 2 (less than 10 minutes) 20V with blue bleach and clarifying shampoo - some strands lifted to red (almost burgundy), some didn't lift at all, curls pattern relaxedTest 3 (less than 7 minutes) 40V with blue bleach and clarifying shampoo - same as above but much more red strandsTest 4 and 5 (literally timed 5 minutes with foil) 20V and 40V with white bleach - Lifted to a brighter red. 40V just a bit brighter, curls really relaxed to a wavy curly texture and when I brushed it was kinky like a blow out. This matches my hair in a blown out state but the color is NOT what I want!Test 6 (literally time 5 minutes with foil) 40V with blue bleach - more of the burgundy red again with the same texture results as aboveTest 7 (about 30 minutes with foil and heat) baking soda, honey and peroxide (willing to try anything at this point) - I put foil on top of my stove while the self cleaner was on to catch some of the heat. This test is the only one that gave me the brown I wanted instead of red. Unfortunately it also made the curls just as loose as the bleach tests. The frizz is less with this one than the others.Conclusion: The closer I am to finishing this the more upset I am.This is not what was advertised and it is not what I expected. Straight out the box the hair was beautiful. But it should still stay that way if you chose to color it or even wet it and that is what the seller is not honest about in the description. I tried several different ways of processing with all of the bleaching under 8 minutes. I can't imagine what would happen if I left it processing longer. The hair would almost be completely straight at that point. I think there is a lot of room for improvement. Stop saying the hair is virgin and that it is natural black because it clearly isn't. It is jet black because it was tinted that way. Why are the pictures on the product page are brown? If you are going to say it can be colored and bleached add more pictures to show that specifically. And at least add a statement to say the curls may relax if the hair is processed further. I will not purchase hair from this seller again unless I see with my own eyes that these issues have been addressed. And I am going to record a YT review to share my experience. I am very disappointed. Especially because every other review on Amazon is good or bad and the seller offers money for reviews. You really don't know if you will get a good batch or not. I bought the hair for my birthday trip a week from now and I don't know what I am going to do. I just want what I paid for.This was some good hair. I wish it could've lasted longer i only wore it a month abroad while in extremely hot Cuba with my husband visiting my in laws. I will buy again for sure. I was nervous at first when i got it i was like hold tfu what's this they sent me nervous asf and it had a weird chemical smell so i had to wash it a few times but when i followed the washing instructions let it air dry and installed it. It was beautiful. However if it only couldve lasted a little longer but that still wont stop me from buying again I loved the hair actually going to buy again soon but a different curl pattern and see how that works out for me. Hope this helps you decide although i hate writing reviews but i thought I'd write this one so people who were nervous have some real guidance because im going to keep it 100 about my hard earned coins i don't have to throw away . I bought the 4 bundle pack of 18” and one bundle of 20” for the very back of my head.Very beautiful. High quality. Jerry curl pattern. Lasted 5 weeks. Wet and go. But..it tangles bad. I had to detangle and cut out knots a lot while wearing this hair. Even with that it still looked great. Would definitely purchase if I want this style again
