Use the clips to hold down hair around the area you are tying OR you can tie Bling String to the clips and make customized colors and designs and just clip it to the hair. This is a fun activity for sleep overs, birthday parties and play dates. Instructions can also be found on the internet. Stylists sell Bling String as an add on service in their salons charging up to 10 dollars per string installation.
